Senior Transmission Line Engineer (Reno, NV)

Come join our team as a Senior T-Line Engineer where you will provide transmission line design services that include routing and design of electric transmission lines with voltages from 60kV up to 500kV. 

• Design transmission structures and power lines for high voltage applications.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and drawings.
• Conduct engineering analysis and simulations for transmission line design.
• Provide support to the project team during construction and installation.
• Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Perform field work as required to support design, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as required.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in transmission line design for high voltage applications.
• Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles and tools.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NESC, IEC, and IEEE.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
