Power your future with Qualus as a Field Service Supervisor in our Field Engineering Department at 100 Colonial Center Parkway, Lake Mary, Florida, 32746 location. The Field Service Supervisor will work in a first-line management role, utilizing a mix of soft and technical support skills. This position will entail coordinating field activities, visiting teams and customers in the field, employee management and ensuring compliance with Company standard and practice.
Provide field service and technical assistance to customers in areas of acceptance testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low, medium, and high voltage systems
Provide technical understanding to others for testing power apparatus and protection and controls equipment including relays, circuit breakers, transformers, moto control equipment, and related switchgear in the field
Read and interpret electrical drawings
Coordinate field services employee’s schedule to execute and complete project schedules
Write procedures and test plans in support of maintenance and constructions activities
Test all voltage and current inputs to electrical equipment which can include apparatus, relay and SCADA equipment
Perform routine troubleshooting and repair of apparatus, relaying and control equipment
Review technicians field time reports and job documentation
Provide project technical support to fields service personnel
Duties require traveling to unanticipated clients’ worksites throughout continental United States every week from Monday morning to Thursday evening. Telecommuting on non-traveling days permitted
