Position Overview

Power Your Future with Qualus as a Compliance Specialist in our Legal department. The Compliance Specialist may work independently or may support the Corporate Paralegal and General Counsel on specific assignments.  Duties shall include, but are not limited to, maintaining associated compliance requirements as well as maintaining all third party qualification sites including commercial and safety related compliance reporting requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with and maintenance of current corporate entity information with third party qualification entities for commercial concerns. 
  • Ensuring timely and accurate compliance reporting and maintenance of health and safety related third party qualification entities. 
  • Utilize established internal controls and auditing systems to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. 
  • Inform internal business departments of noncompliance and assist in timely corrective action 
  • Maintain and prepare all Certificates of Insurance. 
  • Monitor all business licensing for the company and ensure licenses and requirements are kept up to date 
  • Monitor other licensing such as Professional Licensing used for the benefit of the company and work with license holders to ensure proper maintenance and renewals are achieved 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience working with licensure compliance activities 
  • 2+ years working with third party compliance websites 
  • Detailed oriented.  
  • Outstanding organizational skills.  
  • Proven and effective time management skills, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task. 
  • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills. 
  • Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities.  
  • Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.  
  • Excellent communication, writing, meeting facilitation skills.
