Power your future with Qualus in our Information Technology department as an IT Sr. Systems Administrator. The IT Sr. System Administrator is a vital member of the Qualus IT infrastructure team and plays an important role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization's computer systems and network infrastructure. This role requires expertise in Windows and Linux system administration, ensuring the seamless operation of enterprise environments.
The senior system administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers (Windows & Linux), network equipment, and computer systems while also monitoring system performance to identify and resolve technical issues. The role will also require planning and executing software and hardware upgrades to support internal customers.
Additionally, the senior system administrator is expected to stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments, mentor and train junior administrators, and collaborate with other IT staff, developers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
A service-oriented mindset, strong customer focus, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems across both Windows and Linux environments are critical to success in this role.
This position requires after-hours work as determined by the needs of the business.
