Position Overview

Power Your Future with Qualus in our Program Management department as a Senior Project Manager.

The Senior Project Manager will support the standardization of work for continuous improvement, provide dedicated support for enterprise-wide initiatives, and seek opportunities to improve operations through process excellence. 



Responsibilities

  • Leads the planning and implementation of technology-based projects or programs on budget and on time.
  • Engagement with stakeholders to understand needs (gap analysis) and turns these items into tactical actions or technical specifications. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes for process optimization.  
  • Meets with client management as necessary during the term of a project to resolve issues and to obtain approvals at the project’s completion.
  • Maintains a continuing business relationship with clients as part of ongoing business development efforts.
  • Plans, organizes, communicates and coordinates project engagements.
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of project engagements including Client and Project Teams.
  • Achieve project objectives including quality/scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Analyzes project performance and resource utilization.
  • Identifies potential out of scope work.
  • Manages, and negotiates contract change orders.
  • Identifies and manages project risk from the proposal phase through the duration of the project.



Qualifications

Location: Remote position with travel to Dublin, CA up to 25% of the time.

 

Requirement Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Demonstrated capabilities and success in managing large multi-discipline programs, projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma/Process Improvement

Desired Skills:

  • PMP Certification
  • Knowledge of various SAP modules (Financial, Accounting, Materials Management, Portfolio and Project Management, Scheduling, etc.)
  • 3 Years of experience within the Power Delivery Industry
