This position is considered fully remote with the ability to travel up to 10% of the time for site visits or external client meetings as needed. 

• Develop and execute utility distribution, resiliency, and storm hardening engineering designs that optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure all designs meet client, regulatory, and safety standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams and external clients to align project requirements and share best practices with fellow engineers and designers.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers/designers to foster professional development. 
• Maintain regular communication with project leaders to discuss progress, processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct site visits as needed to assess project conditions and ensure design feasibility.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited school or equivalent specialized training.
• 3+ years of experience in electric utility distribution design, with a focus on utility distribution, resiliency, and storm hardening projects.
• Knowledge of NESC and other applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in distribution design software (e.g., Pole Foreman, AutoCAD, Design Manager, WMS, DDS, SAP, etc.)
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn and operate client-provided programs, systems, and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for site visits or client meetings as needed.
